To make this crochet triangle blanket, you’ll first need to make a magic ring using your chosen yarn. Don’t forget to put this ring on your hook!
Next, chain 20 (or however many yards of yarn you have). Then join the chain with a slip stitch (you can see here how I do it). You’ll now have two long chains (one from your magic ring and one from your initial chain).
Next, sc around the entire circle using your loop method (see diagrams below for help), making sure to leave a 3-inch tail at the end. You’ll now have 24 scs around the circle. Don’t finish off yet! We still have one more step left!
Now we’re going to create our triangles. Make two scs in each of the six taller stitches (the ones that are two scs from the edge of the magic ring). You’ll now have 36 scs around the circle.
Finally, finish off your triangle by making one last sc in each of the six stitches. You’ll now have a completed crochet triangle blanket!
Crochet Triangle Scarf
This crochet triangle scarf is a little more complicated than the blanket, but it’s still an easy project for beginners. All you need is a single skein of yarn and the pattern, which you can find below.
To make this crochet triangle scarf, start by making a magic ring using your chosen yarn. Don’t forget to put this ring on your hook!

Dc in each of the first 2 sts, ch1, skip next st, dc in each of next 3 sts. *Ch2; sk next st; dc in each of next 2 sts; rep from * across. Dc in each of last 3 sts. Fasten off.
